Toronto: Saranya Paramasivam is a gifted dancer and model was born and brought up in Coimbatore, India. She started dancing at the age of 8, as a child Sara was a bubbly little kid, who couldn’t control herself whenever beats reached her eardrum. She could make rhythmic patterns by herself and dance gracefully effortlessly. It was then she realised that she could dance and could build a future with it.

Year after year, every dance competition became her platform of victory. She performed at the school annual day ceremonies and won her crown at many cultural contests.

Sara’s parents Paramasivam & Kamala along with her siblings Maina and Rahul were very supportive of her talent. They are a clan of extremely close knit, caring and affectionate family who have always encouraged her in all her endeavors.

Sara secured her degree and masters in Information Technology from renowned Universities in India. After her degree, she got placed in Cognizant (CTS) as a software developer in 2015. She moved to Chennai, one of the metros in India, where she worked for close to five whole years.

At Cognizant she met her better half Elan, after a span of working together, they became best pals. Eventually, the friendship turned into romance and after a few days of courting, the duo tied their wedlock at Guruvayoor Temple in 2019 and her reception held in grand manner as per her dreams with bride entry in pallakku.

Sara’s husband who was an ardent fan of her dance moves, encouraged her to pursue her passion in dancing. Thus started Sara’s dance journey, she joined a corporate dance team called ‘All Starz’ where she learnt different genres of dancing styles. She was a wonderful and dedicated member who never skipped any of her practice sessions. She never bid goodbye to her regular job, despite her great enthusiasm in the dancing arena.

Also one of her memorable performances in Chennai was for Kamal 60 Ungal Naan which was telecasted on Vijay TV for celebrating Kamalhassan’s (60 years in the industry) as Group Performance along with BiggBoss Season 3 fames where she was featured with Starts and Sandy Master’s Dance team.

The young couple migrated to Canada in 2020. She consistently worked for and got selected in one of the top banks in Canada. But just before joining, the position was put on hold due to COVID19 Pandemic. The lull in the job market for months made Sara very depressed. But, her husband Elan lifted her spirits and routed her focus on to Dance, which was her real passion.

He also motivated her to start her Instagram page in May 2020 specially for dance, the page sustains with a name: ‘pyaar_naach_by_sara’ inspired by the Team Naach.

The couple began to shoot Instagram reels, videos and photos, her endlessly supportive hubby engaged in editing her reels. Sara threw all her focus on dance and modelling. At the least expected moment, she got placed as a software developer in July 2020 in a startup firm. Along with her job, she also managed to continue her passion and post quality dance and modelling content on social media handles.

After a year of experience at the startup company, her dream came true, she got placed in one of the top banks – RBC in Canada as a Senior Software Engineer in April 2021. She has done several dance covers in association with the Canadian media club (CMC). All the members of CMC were extremely fond of her. Although she was the only odd one out among the rest of her teammates who were malayalees, the inmates loved her and were happy to have her. She choreographed a portion of the flashmob for Kurup and the Dance troupe eventually went on to win the contest. She was also part of multiple dance teams in Canada – Team Kantharis and D-squad and Bollywood groups.

Having won quite a few laurels through these performances, many brands began to collaborate and do shoots with her. She has done a series of thematic photo shoots on captions sunflower, sugar rush, money heist, winter and snow.

Sara is popular among her fans for her recreational reels and TV series, her fans have given her all support and have loved her performances. Sara is an incessant dreamer who always wants to soar high in life. She wants to be a versatile dancer and choreographer and perform shows in Canada. She yearns to win many people’s hearts by entertaining them through her social media content. She wants to put a smile on all her fan’s faces through her dance moves. She dreams to associate with several top brands in Canada and also work as a model.

She is a passionate and vibrant personality who believes that it’s never too late to work on your passion. Her quote to young budding artists goes like, get up and chase your dream coz’ “What you believe is what you become.”
