C-note is the brainchild of Cino Joy, who is a financially prudent accounting and finance professional born and brought up in Palai, Kerala, India. Knowing a bit about his background will help us gain more credibility about his accounting firm, C-note Tax Solutions Inc.
From his teenage, Cino Joy had the inborn spirit of entrepreneurship. As a young college-goer, he begun his entrepreneurship journey by starting a catering business, Sions Catering Service, Pala by partnering with his friends. As times rolled, Cino did his MBA in Finance at Nehru College of Management, Coimbatore, India. After his Post-Graduation (2005-2008), he worked with different MNCs in Chennai and got acquainted with stock and commodities trading. Having acquired sufficient knowledge in the sector, he moved to Dubai to work for Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
In 2011, Cino and his wife Anu who is a Nurse by profession, decided to explore the opportunities in Canada. Having qualifications highly demanded in Canada, both Cino and his wife believed establishing their career here would be easy. Contrary to their thought, during the initial years 2011-2014, Cino struggled to find a job in financial sector, hence worked with retail and fast-food industries. By then, he completed a Financial Planning Course at Centennial College, Scarborough, ON. Later, TD Bank recruited him in 2014, and he succeeded in achieving IFC, CSC & BCO certifications from Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Meanwhile, Cino started his first entrepreneurship by opening a Tutoring centre in 2015, Talent Tutoring Solutions with one of his friends. He ran it successfully for three years and put a stop in 2018 to focus more on his desire. Then on, there was no turning back.
The couple has three little kids, Noel, Joel, and Isabel, who are doing their elementary education in Canada. They are a happy and content family now, living in neighbourhood of Highland Creek, Scarborough. Cino worked as an Accountant for St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church, Scarborough, as a volunteer from 2018 to 2021. He had been an Executive Committee member at Toronto Malayalee Samajam (TMS) for two years. Cino has an active presence in Social, Community events and initiatives by volunteering quality time.
In 2016, he started to file taxes for the Canadian Taxpayers independently. The clients began to rely on his precise work and client-friendly approach.
